Unicellular organisms

Posted on by Kotomi

Unicellular organisms are organisms that have a single cell.

What is a cell?

Is a measurement unit and the basic structure of all forms of life.

Every cell consists of cytoplasm, which is 80% water, within a cell membrane made of from lipid bilayer, a thin membrane made of two layers of lipid molecules:

Phospholipids with cholesterols

Interspersed between them maintaining membrane fluidity at various temperatures
